Cancer June horoscope

A new moon sweeps new energy into your 12th house of closure. A full moon in your work and health zone could bring a work or health matter to a head.

The new moon that occurred on June 3rd might have seen you take steps to close out a chapter of your life, in preparation for your birthday month in July. It’s also possible you have been working on a behind the scenes project, addressing a bad habit, or spending more time in solitude.

Unfortunately, it’s also possible that you had difficulties with a trip or academic matter, given that Neptune in this sector squared the moon.

Tricky days include June 9th, 10th, 23rd, and 24th.

The other really big news in June is the full moon in your work and health zone on June 17th, which is conjunct lucky Jupiter!. This is pretty big news, as Jupiter's transit to this house only comes once every 12 years, and not always in such a close degree to the full moon!

It’s possible that you get a new job at this time or complete an assignment. You might also address a health or fitness goal.

The trouble with this full moon is that once again, Neptune will be angry with it from your travel zone, suggesting that illness or work may interfere with a fun trip you have planned.

Since eclipses can “eclipse out” situations from our lives, it’s also possible that you leave a job, or see an assistant or employee quit or be fired.

I noticed something else very interesting about June, and that is the alignment of 6 (SIX!) planets at 18 degrees of various signs in the middle of the month. Between June 14th and June 17th, we'll have Mars, Mercury and the North Node at 18 degrees Cancer, Saturn at 18 degrees Capricorn, Jupiter at 18 degrees Sagittarius, and Neptune at 18 degrees Pisces. That's not even counting the Sun and Venus at 18 degrees Gemini (around June 9th and 23rd respectively)!

This is right around the full moon, so events may seem lumped together with that. For you, your 1st, 6th, 7th, 9th, and 12th houses will be lit up like fireworks, so look to these areas of life to see what comes up. If you know your natal chart, you can look to see if you have any important planets or points around 18 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Pisces, Gemini and Sagittarius. Check both the house they are in, as well as what that planet rules (for instance, if your Mercury is near 18 degrees Cancer in your 4th house, you can expect home or family news. Perhaps Mercury also rules your relationship sector (because your descendant- 7th house- is Virgo or Gemini), then it seems a partner could be involved).

Some especially interesting aspects we'll encounter this month will be on June 16th and June 18th, when Jupiter in your 6th house will square Neptune in your travel zone, and then Saturn will sextile it from your relationship house. For more on this, check out what I wrote in your 2019 Yearly Horoscope

On June 21st, Neptune will then go retrograde in your travel sector until November 27th, 2019. You may undergo some changes in regards to your traveling or education over the coming months.

Now you actually have some incredible energy for new beginnings this month, even though it seems you’ll be closing things out as well.

Mars, Mercury, and the North Node will transit your sign of Cancer for most of June, and the Sun will join the party on June 21st. It seems you are slowing setting down plans for new beginnings, whether it’s in regard to relationship, job, or appearance-related changes.

You have some really great aspects to address personal projects and new beginnings this month, so look to June 7th, 12th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 18th, and 27th to make your moves. The only tricky thing is that Saturn will be in your 7th house, opposing these planets in your sign, which could indicate some obligations with a close partnership. Saturn will oppose Mars on June 14th and Mercury on June 16th. Saturn will also oppose the North Node (and conjunct the South Node) for the whole month, making an exact opposition on July 4th

Another tricky day is June 19th, when Mercury and then Mars will oppose Pluto in your relationship house.

Luckily, there is a stunning solar eclipse next month in your sign of Cancer on July 2nd. This will be the perfect time to launch what you’ve been working on! Check out July's horoscope to see what's in store.
